So one of the reasons I came back to Miami was to do my new solo shoot for the calendar. I’ve been waiting for a new photo shoot for 3 years! A long time. I know, it was a money issue. I wanted more than what they were willing to offer. I held my ground and it worked out for the best.

The photographer was really professional and polite. That’s when I found out he’s only 19! He’s very established, knows how to make money, and capture a good photo. He also had an assistant — his brother. Those two are definitely something else. I had a few outfits I had to try on but we stuck to the idea of the Santa hat. It seemed like 30 minutes, but I was there for about 2 hours. I forgot how fun solo shoots can be. I looked at my first shoot and then the new one. I look so different from 3 years ago. Trust me when I say — Damn, I look good!

And best of all, my boy Smooth got January 2010 too!
